We have an amazing team at Orbis International, who have come from different backgrounds. With over 30-year combined knowledge and expertise in Freight Industry, they all have one common drive and ambition - to be the best.

Being a customer centric team, we are here when you need us. This is something you would expect from our Time Critical and Exhibition & Event Logistics Team, but this is an ethos that runs through our general cargo divisions too, be it Air, Ocean or Road.

An excellent relationship is built of the foundation of trust, which is an amalgamation of transparency and communication, leading on to reliability, and that is what you get from the team at Orbis.


Sean Henson

Director and owner of Orbis International, husband and a dad of two, Sean has over 20 years freight forwarding industry experience bringing a wealth of knowledge to the ever-changing world of supply chain. Transparent communication and a drive for success was the dream that led him into creating Orbis International. In his downtime, Sean supports his favourite football club (LFC) and Green Bay Packers, enjoys good food, and a odd recreational pint with friends and family.


Diego Mortensen

General Manager

Starting out as an Export Clerk, Diego draws on nearly a decade of freight forwarding experience to now manage the head office in Newark and enjoys coaching the other members of the Orbis team. On a daily basis he can be found wearing many hats: pricing, ops, client liaison and project management to name a few. Despite these numerous accolades, Diego is still the butt of office jokes and is the only Orbis employee who knows how to fix the printer. He enjoys listening to rock music, searching for the perfect IPA and supplementing his wardrobe with grandad fleeces and anything from Carhartt.


Sam Rowarth

Operations Manager

Sam brings a genuine passion for people alongside his dedication to providing the best service possible. He started his forwarding career at one of the top NVOCC’s in the UK where he cut his teeth learning Sea freight, out of gauge, and project work. After travelling around the UK and Europe in various freight roles, he added Air freight expertise to his repertoire since joining Orbis in 2019. Sam continues to lead our Import team, bringing organisation and calm to a demanding section of the company.

Keen traveller, husband and sports-enthusiast, outside of work Sam enjoys spending time with his family, friends and dog. He is an avid film-buff and enjoys playing football, squash and kayaking.


Lina Trujillo

Lina is an experienced professional with 18 years of combined experience in international sales within the freight forwarding industry and as a sales and logistics specialist with a multinational produce company. Her career is marked by a deep-rooted expertise in customer service, encompassing strategic planning, effective selling techniques, adept negotiation skills, and the ability to foster cooperation among diverse groups of national and international companies. Lina's bilingual abilities further enhance her capacity to provide personalised service to our agents worldwide. 

Her adeptness at understanding and adapting to multicultural processes is instrumental in ensuring client satisfaction and driving profit generation for Orbis International. 


Kelly Booth

Financial Controller

A highly organised and proactive professional with over 10 years experience in accounting, administration, and customer service. Kelly is dedicated to ensuring all suppliers are paid in a timely manner and customers have all required information relating to invoicing and payments. Mum to a little boy, wife, animal lover and keen traveller, Kelly's spent many hours supporting the Nottingham Panthers and attending music festivals and gigs.


Ilona Norris

Ilona is a Commerce & Transport Management graduate with over 15 years experience working as a marketing specialist for B2B and B2C companies in logistics, consumer goods and manufacturing sectors. Ilona looks after Orbis' website, branding, promotional materials and social media accounts.
